We are currently reading through Ephesians. This letter was not written to address any particular problems or weaknesses in the churches, which is largely why the tone of this letter is so incredibly positive! It was written to (1) encourage ALL believers of the truth and beauty of God’s redemption in Christ, (2) to unify/bring together each church that would read these words, (3) to teach the members of the churches how to act toward one another in the church, at home, and when out in culture. To sum up this letter in one sentence, “Ephesians is the blueprint, the construction plans, for building up the church.”
